I wanted to get one last year, but Mr Insurance laughed in my face! AND I was only looking at a 16 valver. Swines. It's got to be one of the best VW's around.
I heard on the grapevine that some Corrado parts were impossible to find now... surely this can't be true?

25, 2 years no claims (got my own policy when I got out of uni 2 years ago).
BUT...
I live in Birmingham. It's about 60% more expensive to insure than where I used to live in Yorkshire.
My modded golf (1.6 driver) I had to sell when I first moved down here - they wanted 1300 quid to insure it with one year's no claims and I was 24!
So, when I build up the no claims and move outside of Birmingham (Solihull probably), I'll hopefully find the car I want.
Coming back from the centre of town today, a car pulled up next to me and on tickover the noise was shaking my door panels. It was a VR6 corrado, with what looked like a brand new paint job on it. Superb. Same exhaust as I used to have on my golf. I want one!
So. Gonna stick with the good ol' VW badge and keep my polo for a while!
