Snapped pedal Ass....

Got an M plate Mk4,
The clutch pedal assembley is buggered,in fact foooked.
Has anyone fixed one or changed a full pedal box

it is probably just the pedal box as this happened to mine
my dad did this for me because i was busy with work
but i know it does involve the removal of the sterring column so its not an easy job
sure some others will have beter inforation but if not il ask my dad

its a pain in the arse and a royal nightmare IMO. All three polos ive stripped gave me hasstle with this. theres so many little bolts hidden away, not all of them you can get too from the inside of the car im sure there were some on the outside near the break cylinder thing.
Because i was stripping it i had to take the dash out and pretty much everything so i dont know if you would normally have to do that.
Theoretically its rather simple just diisconnect your throttle cable and the break sorta just pulls up with a bit of welly. Its Just nuts and bolts really.
