Hi Guyz,

Its been a year now since another problem has arised!

My car drives perfectly, ive got no problems with the gears, nor i have any problems with the clutch but for some reason since the last 2 days im getting this NOISE from the centre of my car!

At first i thought its probably a plastic bottle underneath the passenger seat. But i checked it's not that!

It difficult to tell where its coming from but it looks like the noise is coming from underneath the handbrake. Not properly sure!

Now the other weird thing is, it only comes when im driving turning RIGHT.

While turning right the noise will appear but then when im driving straight it will dissapear!

Its like a "Khut Khut Khut Khut" Noise

Im going to take my car to a mechanic but before going wanted some ideas if anyone had the same problem or knows anything!

Plus the bad thing is my cars in for MOT in february so i wish its not that bad as i want to do everything at once.

Previously this site has been really useful for me and saved me lots of money! thanks

Could be your driveshaft joints, they usually make noise when making tight turns. Does it happen when you're near full steering lock?

try looking under the car at the exhaust, i had a similar problem but i cant tell if its the same noise lol
it only happened turning right and i thought it was the handbrake
might be wrong but its easier than a driveshaft

i think you are right it seems like it is coming from uder the car.

I took it to a mechanic today and he said it could be the driveshaft joints as dragon_green said, but then i asked him to sit with me and drived him around.

He then said its not the driveshaft definatly!

He said its probably something under the car loose but not a major problem. He had 2 other cars he was working on so told me to come back sometime next week.

I might just take it to kwik fit and ask them to check my exhaust, maybe something is loose.

NOOOO... dont take it to kwik fit!! Anywhere but their!! they run on commision!!!

Hi petrol_head!

U are right, kwit fit are rip off!

I took it to them and they said that the exhaust needs to be changed as its soon going to melt

Anyways while they put the car up i saw what was making the noise! Its a bracket, which holds the exhaust and has came off! I just need to but a new bracket!

Not going there again, going to do it some other place! but im pleased its not something major!
