hi,

will a 02 polo spoiler with brake light fit on a 6n?

is it off a 6n2 (mk5) or a 9n (mk6)? 2002 was the changeover year you see.

Not entirly sure mate, it just says..

"REAR ROOF SPOILER , WILL FIT POLO 02 ON PART NUMBER 6Q00716459AX"

Don't know, ETKA doesn't recognise that part no. .....

ask the seller if it's for a '00-'02 polo or '02 onwards, perhaps?

Pretty certain it wont.Be careful though as there are two types of tailgate on the 6n,,,a later type and earlier type,,,hence two different fitments of spoiler.

id preffer one without a light on, something like this one..

Right mate,,,the later 6n models have a slight dip and a lip on the leading edge of the top of the boot lid (97> i believe) where as the early 6n models have a sloped edge with no lip on it,,and are both different spoilers.If you look at you tailgate itll make sense.
Mine is a 98 and has the lipped style later boot,,,not a great pic but thats my spoiler without a light.Ill try get you a part No for it,,hope this helps.

The spoiler in the pic. is for a Polo 9n 2002 on, got one in the garage with same part number. HTH..
