A Norwegian Newbie for a change. Bought my 1984 mkII Today.
Will try to keep it as original as possible.
know there are a couple of issues with it but will rectify those within a week or 2 (cross fingers).
Gas tank leak and rear windscreen wiper.
Here are some pictures (hopefully as im not sure how to link them).
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

PS: What models of polos should i look for as a donor for my leaky gas tank? or should i buy a new one? if new im thinking the cost will be 150£ or more?

hello, and welcome, I too have an 84 sqaureback. my rear wiper does not work, but I was lucky enough to find a second hand one. aparently there really hard to source though, as for your tank, I would change it, but try and treat it before you put it back in.

i have nothing against decked out or heavily modified cars. i will prolly do that myself at some point but not with this one as it is a very nice and minimal rust car wich with care will keep well. so the later generations may actually get to see what these started out as. my next project will be one that i will lower and mod up tho since i likes the looks of them.
