hehe stick with nokia. The 6233 is a really good phone. Its nice and compact, has stereo speakers and space for loads of expansion (if you use those features :P ) Plus the battery lasts for aaaages and it features a damn good 2megapixel camera with 1600x1200 resolution!

Its also a nice phone to look at :D

Cheers,

Alex

Mines been ok so far, the only problem with it is that the battery goes quickly when you're using the applications on it.

I've got a Samsung X820 8) but although it looks and works great the battery like tops out at 3 days with moderate usage. Also the camera is not brilliant but that doesn't bother me as I rarely use it, I have a Canon digital camera

If you are after a decent camera and good battery life, get a Sony Ericsson - my previous K750i would go for about 6 days before needing charging and the 2MP camera was great. The only reason I didn't go for the K800i was the issues I had with the joystick failing (twice in 9 months) on the old K750i :)

I guess you could look at a Samsung D900 but I don't know what the battery life is like! However it has a slot for a memory card, and a 3MP camera too.

Incidentally can you tell I'm not a Nokia fan?

Cheers

Hehe i can argue that - I bought a new sony W800i (the white and orange one) and within 2 days it stopped working. The battery indicator had turned to red suggesting there was water damage, but considering it was in the box for the first day and plugged in to charge on the second is rather odd - and they refused to give me a refund. Trading standards sorted them out 8)

Cheers,

Alex

I got a sony erricson, on 3G, from themobileoutlet.co.uk

I got a contract where the phone, and all the minutes and messages and pic messages are free...you just have to post them your bills when they say and they give you 100% cashback!

its a 30squid a month contract and you get it back quarterly.
so it works out as all completely FREE FREE FREE

you just have to make sure you send back the bills when your supposed to.

Couldnt believe it myself, well chuffed!

There are deals on other phones also....certainly worth doing if you ask me

8)

i know that wasnt the question exactly but thought it was worth mentioning !

I've just ordered a new Samsung D900.

And when it arrives tomorrow I'm going to take great pleasure in running over my Motorola V3.
