Hi guys,

just got a quick question. how do you fit the Audi TT seats into the polo mk 4? do i just need to grind off the sub frames on the old seats and then weld the them to the new seats? or is there some other process?

any help would be great!

Before you do any grinding and weilding id double check if i were you (guess thats what your doing with this thread) because ive heard the the tt seats are quite an east mod for the mk 4 and may need little work to get them in !

Someone on here will know fully how to do it so wait around and the answer will come mate !

yeh i know there some work involved but i was wanted to know how much! ive seen some guys with the tt seats in the mk4 6n so im just hoping that one of those guys can shed some light!

Its not easy! Test_richie from club polo has done it, best get in touch with him. Alex_6n2 may know, as he was gonna do it!

ive tried to contact tej and test_richie but no luck yet, i went to some bodyshops around my area but they all said it cant be done!

right guys should have a thread up for anyone who wants to fit tt seats into a polo, thanx to a friend. his gonna take pictures and send them to me, so as soon as i get them then ill post them up for you guys.

Where did you get hold of some audi TT seats? Must have cost quite a bit!

i was very lucky found them by chance, keep an eye out on ebay, audi tt forum or the clubpolo forum. seen 2 or 3 sets sell on clubpolo got mine very cheap!

This is for fitting mk4 golfs seats in a lupo, but they use the same subframes as the tt and lupo's the same as a 6n.

Apparently MK4 Golf seats are a bit of a job to get in as well.
