Exor 17" Alloys

Hi all, hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.
I'v managed to get hold of the front brembo brakes from a Seat Leon Cupra R and I need some alloys to clear. I know that OZ Super T's will fit, but I really like the VW Exor alloys. Does any1 have these alloys on their Polo? If so would you mind measuring something for me, or if we are close I could meet up with you? I dont want to get them to find out they wont clear the calipers.

Any help would be great

do the brembo's not require an adaptor to fit?

i think it will look well smart though, although the cupra -r has 18's on it??

I have everything I need to fit the brembo conversion, I'v bolted it all on to make sure and it's all good :D
17" will just clear the disks and caliper circumference - the problem is from the hub face to the inner spoke clearence. I need 51mm. Its a strange size and I could get a spacer, but it could upset the handling of the car. I'v put a front strut brace and Jabbasport rear anti roll bar on it and now its sweet to chuck into the corners. I dont want to lower it because where I live there are loads of speed (sorry "safety") bumps.
Should look quiet good once its done, be very helpful too - Over Christmas I took the car to Awesome and they re mapped it for me. They claim its now got 230 at the flywheel. It now performs how it should have from VW and gives my old G40 a run for its money

They look awesome on the car, hope they clear! What tyre size did you go for - 215/40 r17? did you have any issues with rubbing?

hi there, yes, im on my second polo gti 9n3

i got the red one, base spec with just winter pack and cd changer, loved it for a while, then it seemed to be quite basic for features so i sold it for my golf mk 5 gti t-fsi, got that, full spec, but never liked it so got another polo 9n3 gti but full spec on this one and i love it again

the wheels did not rub on 205 x 40 x 17 tyres, bridgestone potenza re050's with a 40 mm drop all round on coilovers

Exors wont fit without spacers and I dont want to use them if possible. I have ordered some Compomotive MO 6 spokes 17*8 that will clear. Anyone suggest any tyres? I'v been in a company car for years and dont really have a clue what tyre would be good. My Polo is a daily driver and I do 'get on with it' I have been recommended P-Zero Russo's - any thoughts? I'm goning to go for 215 40 R17

Sorry, think I'm confusing things, I have got a Leon Cupra R Brembo set up to go onto my car and the Exors wont clear the calipers without spacers. Its ashame 'cause those Exor's look awesome!

awesome's said its 230 bhp at the fly?

is it on stage 2 or something as stage 1 on mine with turbo back exhaust and filter with cupra d intake has made 214 bhp

stage 1 only makes a claimed 204 bhp which more realistically is nearer 198 bhp with everything standard

dean andy and sarah at awesome said the car needs to have the front mount on coupled with better induction and turbo back system to make reliable use of stage 2 without killing it

and if yours really is on stage 2

how are you finding it with the relaibility and temperatures without a front mount cooler?
