yep that would be the dubsport golf, 2.8 golf vr6 in the front and 2.9 corrado vr6 in the rear, both with turbos!!!
dubweiser also have a golf a green mk1 with a 2.2 turbo audi engine in it!! its also been converted to 4wd!! saw it at santa pod in july and it set the fastest time on the day!

I've never found out if that is true! a 2.8 and a 2.9? i'm pretty sure the engines have to be identical in power and torque otherwise one would do most of the work and the other would just be mostly a big lump of weight!
obviously, they seem to have got the power just right!

That thing boots!! i remember that from inters and santa pod and think it did a 0-60 in 3.2 secs!! which is the same as a mclaren f1.
