yeh iv got them, and theyr ok. you cant really grumble for £300, but obviously the more you spend the better you will get. i cudnt justify spending more than £300 on suspension for a 60bhp polo!lol but they do the job fine.

lol thats only if you buy springs mate. Coilovers are the whole package( shocks and springs) and you can adjust the ride height, sometimes even the dampning in all. The things that will need done after the coilovers fitted will be your tracking and camber.

all the way down at the back, and roughly about 40mm left to go on the front. its sits even like that but think ill wind the fronts down a bit to give a little 'nose down'.

Are these the same as the Phil J ones?

Does anybody have any coilovers from German eBay?

Yes, they are. I still think you get what you pay for with those, unfortunately. The quality of them isn't said to be the best, and the damping of the shocks is meant to be far from impressive.

If I were you, I'd spend £300 on a decent suspension kit, e.g. H&R CupKit, the KW alternative, or match up a set of Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs, which is meant to be a good setup.

It all depends on how low you want to go really. The H&R kit lowers the car 60mm front, and 40 rear.

Don't be bullied into having a stupidly low ride height through using coilovers. 60mm is perfect, in my opinion.

ye they are the same as the ones phil_j sell, i cant see much of a point in spending loads of money on coilovers for a non gti polo the evos are good enough for the money
