part number- 6n0 407 449 x

No part numbers found on etka. What is it? I can have a look that way for ya then.

its a driveshaft for a 96 1.4 manual thanks

Yes it's listed in ETKA
Polo > 1996 > Front axle

For 'Driveshaft with Constant Velocity Joints' it lists

6N0-407-271 and 6N0-407-449 as left hand side
6N0-407-272 and 6N0-407-450 as right hand side

So I think it should fit, but don't quote me
