hey all

a few Q's for the engine conversion veterans/experts

im just sorting my engine plans for my mk1 polo

im almost set on a 1.4 16v from a mk4, i understand all the mounts are the same i just need a 5 speed gearbox mount?

my plan is to fit bike carbs, im assuming i will need pretty much all of the loom? and just cut out the bits i dont need.

then just a case of a 5 speed gear linkage, custom manifold, a better fuel pump and some setting up.

Am i missing anything?

Yeah, i remember this, i think the engine is slightly taller so he had to have the rear of the bonnet raised a few inchs, looked sweet tho
