Yes guys, finally ordered Polo GTI and after being told by 2 dealers "We'll have to order it, that will be 8-12 weeks" the third dealer I went to looked at (supposedly same stock system as all the dealers have) and said you can have one for Jan delivery.
How cool is that??
So Diamond Black Polo with CD changer on its way to me. Can't wait should be great fun especially after having two test drives on Saturday (two different dealers). Had to make sure, didn't I.

Post pics before I drive it?
I probably won't go near a computer for days, as I'll just be driving around enjoying myself.

It's been registered and I pick it up on Friday. This week is going to drag so badly.
Thanks for the reminder Mouse I will be gentle for first 500- 600 (whatever book says) miles.

Oh yeah, tell me about it. The only thing that I liked about my clio was 50 litre fuel tank. My two Polos obviously had 45 litre tanks and now going back to that is a pain, but buying a car on the size of the fuel tank seems a little extreme. The POLO ticked far more boxes the the others I test drove. I'll just have to get use to watching that needle.
Roll on Friday

Hi Guys
I picked up my Polo yesterday about 12.30. Its fantastic!
Drove 57miles, but kept it in the garage today. (I don't want to wear it out). Although I think I'll have to go out tomorrow as I won't be able to resist it.
Its so nice to be back in a Polo.

LOL, I got mine on Friday afternoon as well!
Don't think it's been off since.
I know I'm coming from something really special (R32) but this little car is a lot of fun - reasonably quick too!
And how I laughed when it only cost £32 to fill with 97, and 250 miles later there is still loads left
Get some pics up Andy!

Hi
I'm fed up with these photos
Click on the [/Img] link and then under My Albums click on My Hobby and then you can start the slideshow
I shall probably keep it as standard for a while (ok probably the whole warranty period). I might be tempted to up the power as I quite like the idea of leaving bigger hot hatches standing or at least keeping up with them
