Wing MIRROR

VW spares are day light robbers.
They want roughly £29 just for ONE mirror. i dont need the electric motor (thank god.. because they probably would charge 100 for them) but anyway.. to the reason of this topic......
Has anyone used the cheap alternatives you can stick over the mirror that looks just like the old one????
ITS roughly £7 for ones that stick on... however i wanted peoples opinion if they had used them in the past?

ive got one but its a whole unit,,,,casing,,mirror,,motor,,glass.

Try a heated and and elctrical mk5 mirror! See the price on them!!!!!!!

yeah i used toi have one on my car, just get a thin one and theres no difference what so ever

my gf used one of them on her old car. got it from halfords. it was fine, didnt come of or n e thing.

A mate of mine bought one for his Astra from a Vauxhall dealer & it was about £57

Have you tried Volksapart in Welling they're quite reasonable and have all manner of spares new and used.

iv paid £8.50 for a stick on... it looks decent, i will just wait until i see one floating about on ebay for a few penny's.. but no way was i gona pay around £29 for small wing mirror????
