Not sure about anyone else but if I don't know the answer - or don't know what I *think* is the right answer - then I won't post just to say "sorry, no idea"
Personally I only know stuff about the mk5 Polo really as thats the model that I own and love
Cheers

I tend to agree with Si there. I try and offer help on the logical problems and that, but mostly my knowledge lies in the Mk4, Mk5, and Mk7's hehe
Cheers,
Alex

Same here I'm afraid, I've been into cars for the last 5-6 years but no nowhere near what I'd like to.
I'm fine with cleaning and styling but as far as the engine goes it's all foreign to me

I live in Chudleigh
lol
I'm guna do something someone told me about checking the voltage somewhere around the starter motor, he said that doing that will be able to tell me whether it is the starter motor that is the problem, something to do with finding out if there is no voltage reaching it of if something is disconnected, i dont remember exactly what it was but they are mailing me tomoro about it.
I dont want to drag you down here! But if I cant work it out it might be an idea, I have my neighbours on the case aswell and they cant work it out.... Ill post when ive done this voltage thing to update you...

Yep have to agree, I'd rather keep quiet than tell you something which will turn out to be a load of useless b******t.
Good luck with your problem anyway!
