Well, not quite yet - pick it up on Wednesday the 31st January.

I currently drive a MK4 R32, but need to downsize / get a new car with new warranty and want to stay with VW so this little car fits the bill

The car is 3 months old and covered 1100 miles. It's silver, which wouldn't be my first choice, but hey, the price is right!

Had a drive of it at Verve in Wishaw on Saturday and really liked it. Ovbiously, it's not a patch on the R32 - but it felt a lot better than I thought it would! I was surpirsed that it only gave 22 mpg though

Nice wee car, and I really like the interior. Currently investigating the world of remaps and coil overs, and resisting a Miltek exhaust.

What I would love to do is an HID conversion - and I notice some here have done so - any recomendations as to suppliers / fitters would be gratefully recieved!

Thanks,

Ross

It's breaking my heart - but hey ho, been there done that - time to save a bit of cash for a few months and maybe get a MK5 R32 in time for next winter :)

I'm not lying when I say that I really enjoyed the Polo, and while being a samll car, it still feels expensive, especially with all of the wee details on the interior. I especially like the dials from the GTI!

And I've never really modified a car. If I can keep it looking as OE as possible, I may have a pop at this. A slight drop, a re map and a Miltek will still pass under most people's radar - but the car will be a proper rocket

Well, I collected it on Firday afternoon, and have a really busy weekend, so it's been well used.

I really miss my old r32 - but the Polo is a lot of fun - it feels plenty quick at the moment - and with only 1100 miles on the clock I thinking there will be wee bit more to come.

It's funny getting used to wheelspin again though - but the car is great fun down the twisties.

So all in, I'm chuffed. Now, about that Miltek and those xenons ...
