Boot closure

I've noticed this since i've owned my 9N, but everytime I close my bootlid, it doesn't always shut first time and needs a good slam compared to other vehicles. Just wondering is this normal with all 9Ns??
Im thinking the latch may need some adjustment or something but if this is normal than I don't want to bother. Did lubricate it with some WD40 and grease - which tested my alarm

but no change

Mine's the same, needs a good firm push to close it.

I have the same problem with my 9n3!!
Also, i think the doors take a bit of force to close as well!

i find that if you use the interior handle it'll close dead on. I just wish there was a light inside the boot.

Yeah the doors on 3 door models is the same, but atleast you get a re-assuring heavy thud when it closes
When I had a 9N3 as a courtesy car I know it closed as normal, but it literally was brand new with 35 miles when it got given to me. After two weeks of having it I used the boot quite alot and it became just like mine - needed a slam to shut.
I'm gonna have a go at adjusting the latch to see if I can make it better
Don't all 9Ns come with a bootlight as standard?
Mine definetely has one!

You're right, never used them but used it today and it closes one-time, everytime.
Still gonna try adjust the latch, I know its a minor thing but it really bugs me!

I had my car in at verve for the same thing needed to slam it or the light on the dash stayed on, they just lubricated the latch but doesn`t seem to have made any difference useless dealer bastids
