I know it's 7 litres left when the light comes on, but how many miles is this?

Pay by debit card, the money won't leave your a/c until tommorrow at the earliest. Or pay by cheque (if the garage accepts) and it won't clear for 7 days+.Mouse_GTI wrote:I don't get paid until tomorrow and need the car but the light is just about to come on

You get really good mpg eh mouse. I filled up right before that perth trip and i got 344 miles before i filled up, but that was on the empty line. Prob still happily had a few miles left in it, but the light prob came on round about 310. I dont think i could ever push over 350 miles, even if i drove very conservatively. I usually get approx 320 before i fill up. And thats near the bottom line. Personally, i dont think the 1.4 8v is that economical.Mouse_GTI wrote:301 miles exactly and the light came on, pretty darned tootin. Well 180 of those miles were back roads/dual carridgeway to Perth
