Right had this problem for sometime and its now time to get it sorted.

Whenever I drive the car any distance, say after maybe 20 presses of the clutch it starts to creak and feel stiff. But if I leave the car it goes back to normal then starts again...

I know polo's have pedal box problems but Ive had this looked into and its not cracked... for now at least.

Any ideas folks?

yeah ive got the same problem, i think its the clutch cable needs replacing like you mentioned...but ignore it, i hate my clutch it hurts my leg!!!! (Whimp!<<<YES!!!)

Er, close, but no. Your pedal box is about to break. If you havent had the recall done, go to the dealer. If you dont know if you have, go to the dealer. If you have had it done, buy a new pedal box!
