hi, looking for an induction kit for a single point injection 6N, i see K&N sell one for the 1.6 spi 8v, so will it fit a 1.0l spi 8v? i presume they run the same size carb?

uhm, SPI (single point Injection), carbs..... ? I think you must be talking about the throttle body.
ETKA only lists one same injection unit (SPI) for 1.05 to 1.6 engines, codes ADX, AEA, AEV.
There are 2 versions of the ''1.0'' engine. The early one, which is 1.05L (45bhp i think) and the later 0.999L (50bhp).
Which engine code is yours?

mine is a single point injection 4 cylinder 1043cc, iron block so i think its the older 45bhp, ive already bought a k&n induction kit (57-0193-1) for the mpi which doesnt fit, too small

(now in for sale section

thanks for all the info, been looking around, looks like K&N is my best bet, the only other filter i found was from jetex which didnt even have a cold air feed for a similar price as the K&N
