Hi guys, bit of a learner when it comes to modding so need some sound advice, I'm looking to get an exhaust system which lives up to this criteria:

- Sounds nice but not stupid
- Improves horses (the more the better, even if its tiny)
- Doesnt stick out the back of the car (viewable is fine but i dont want it coming out further than the bumper)

A twin would be tasty, any ideas??? pics would also be great!!

Get yourself to powerflow or longlife. Defo your best bet. Can get the spec to what you want!

I don't want to put you off, but having tried a slightly louder after market system (Scorpion) with claimed extra performance, I went back to standard after less than a week. The results were naff and too noisey on the motorway!

Yep, can agree about the motorway comment!!

Basically when you're cruising along the motorway at 80, the car is pulling 4000 revs and, certainly in my case, this is where the car is at its loudest. On a standard exhaust this is not really noticeable but with my Powerflow, which puts out a louder and deeper note, you get the exhaust note resonating through the cabin :?

I stupidly disposed of my standard exhaust at the Powerflow dealership, so no going back, besides I've grown used to it know!

I have a Powerflow cat back system & it sounds just right at tick over. At motorway speeds it can be a little deafening at first, but once it carbons up abit, you get used to it. But i love it anyway :D
