And the 27th of april i'm getting a cupra d intake fitted, catalysator emptied, egr closed and a custom chip which should result in +- 160hp and +- 350Nm

More news later and maybe some more pics next week when the eibach suspension kit has been fitted.

That's it for now..

Greetings

Are you upgrading the clutch with that much torque?

What does you mean when you say 'catalysator emptied' ??

Hi chris4500uk

No, the clutch is not being upgraded yet, it will be a custom chip and the torque will come up "slowly" before it goes to its peak so the clutch won't suffer too much.
When I feel like the clutch needs changing (I hope to be able to drive as long as possible with the original though) I will upgrade it to a Sachs racing clutch.

About the katalysator, I mean the katalysator will be "unlimited", the "grill structure" that is in it will be out so the exhaust is free.

I hope I explained it well ??

it must have been difficult for you to have put xenons on your polo. did u have to take out the headlights? because i was going to get hids but i dont find the polo has alot of room. did u have to cut the rubber seal?

I haven't fitted the xenons myself as I wanted it to be done as professional as possible.

But afaik there hasn't been cut in the rubber seal, and room was not a problem:

the ballasts are "hidden" behind the "strut" (?) bar of the rear wiper, so they are dry and safe. The xenon bulbs just fit as easy as the normal hallogen bulbs fit, it's just H7 format so that should not be a problem at all.

The wiring just needs to be done correctly and if you are handy and sure enough and you read the manual (included in the H.I.D. conversion kit) this should not be a problem either.

If you want, I can scan the manual for you, just let me know if you are interested.

Ray, it can be done without taking the headlight units out, but for a neater install, its better to take them out. Its not that hard, bumper off job is 30mins.

That's why I have let it do by someone who has done these things before and does not do anything else every day but working on cars ;)

Today my car got the Eibach Pro suspension kit fitted.

Looking nice and drives better 2 now (afaik didn't lose any comfort)

Also today I got my Cupra D Intake. Damn it's HUGE compared to the original intake !! Will try and fit it this week-end.

Here's a pic of it (pics of the car lowered will follow soon when I washed the car :p)

So..

Installed the Cupra D intake today, didn't testdrive it yet (But I don't expect much difference now because the car is only getting custom chipped next month).

Here's a pic though to compare the original with the Cupra D, the diameter is at least 2x as wide :)

You should purchase some upgraded LED sidelights. Ive got xenon white ones in mine. Its code U501WHP2+ from www.ultraleds.co.uk

They would look totally awesome with the colour of your xenon headlights ;) Theres some pics on this page: http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=28721

Cheers,
