Is this clay any good?

I've just bought a bar of this:

Anybody used this or know what it's like. I didn't get any of the lubricating spray. Is this spray really needed or car I just use some water in a spray bottle?

sonus have a good reputation, so i think it should do the job well. you can use some car shampoo / water solution in a spray bottle.

Well it's arrived and I cant believe how good it is...
I have had a few tar spots on the car which nothing would move but the clay got rid of them straight away...I'll definitely be using clay from now on

I have some 3M stuff I bought some time ago in a GB, at first I didn't know what all the fuss was about but after using it and seeing the crap stuck to it I then realised what all the fuss was about!
As for the lubricating spray, I use some water and some car shampoo in one of those garden spray thingies and it works a treat.
