i would like my GTi to have about 10 more bhp or on that mark,

what mods can i do, and where can i get them from, i,e chips, sports cams, pulleys i know it needs lowering and smaller wheels as i have 17s on it, but i will only get 3-4 brake after that....

anything would be handy

Hi Rich and welcome to UK-Polos,

Well im no expert so the bhp's are only my estimates but to give you an idea....

Air filter/Induction kit - +1-3 bhp
Manifold - +4-6 bhp
Exhaust - +1-5 bhp
Chip/Remap - +5-8 bhp

Premium petrol - +1 bhp (maybe more if remapped to only run on the good stuff)
Uprated Cams (not sure about bhp increase)

Then we get to serious cash...
Supercharger, Turbo, Port Polish, Increase Displacement, Engine Conversions, Weight reduction (who needs backseats anyway?) etc...
