What is the wire attached to the tax disk holder??

Is it some sort of temp sensor or maybe an aerial for optional gps?

Mine wont stick on the window properly anymore, can i buy a new one?

I'm guessing i'd have to take the dash off to fit it ! or sqweeze down the side where it goes now?

If its not a vw thing i maybe well just chop it off lol

Only thing i can think of would be an aerial for a mobile phone car kit.

lol, just kidding. Looks like it could be an antenna of some sort. Poss mobile kit or satnav?

As i thought that'll be a signal booster for a car kit that was probably in the car before you brought it. Almost identical to the ones on my company cars.

You may be able to trace it by opening the LHD fuse box cover.
