For the front, too much (can't even rember how much it was)

For the back, £350 (the guy is really good at it and quite well known but isn't known for being the cheapest)

350 to get the front done and the bonnet filled.

vdubit can you make up a guide on how to diy smooth the bumper! lol.

Im planning on doing this and thought i would give it a go myself but i dont have a clue!! Was thinking im gonna take it to a bodyshop and if i mess it up then at least the bodyshop can fix it. But if i do the smoothing and get it right i save lots of money :D

Sorry to hijack the thread a bit, but what would be a reasonable price to smooth bumpers, bump strips and rear badge without respraying. As above Vdubit make a DIY guide please :!:

Its gloss, solid. Not matt or metallic! Got 3Litres left if anyone wants it cheap?!? Its changing colour again, something a little brighter to say the least!

Black is the worst colour to spray. It shows every imperfection there is. As i'm no professional when it comes to bodywork, there's probably a few imperfections sitting under the paint that i didnt do too well. The grey hides that really well! Hence one of the reasons i didnt respray it the original pearl grey. Light colours and solids hide things the best, silver's very good as is red and white.

I've mixed the paint up for my car already. It loosly based on a french colour, but i wasnt too keen so amended the ratio's to get it just right. Tis lurvly now! Really pearly.
