Hi guys,

Just want to know will a VW iPod kit work with any other head unit - i know CD changers work with different units, but can the VW one be moved to a different head unit?

It will work with all VAG headunits of the same brand sporting the changer out connection. If I remember right, they're mainly Grundigs.

It won't work on other brands, like Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer, etc.

Cheers, I did a bit of research and it will work with any new Blaupunkt radio as that is who makes the BETA and the GAMMA and all other VW head units from bout 2000 onwards
