Headlight Question PLEASE HELP?!

Will 1998 aftermarket polo headlights fit a late 1999 model ?? The reason I was wondering is that there was electronic adjustment on the late 99 polos (mine) and not on earlier 6Ns.
Will this affect them fitting??
Can I just fit them and do away with the electronic adjustment???
Can anybody shed some light on the topic???????
