Door hinge removal

Hello,
Im removing my rear passenger side door to replace it. I cant get the brack off the door. Ive followed the haynes manual and have removed the door from the hinge pin but i need to get the actual hinge part off the door.
It seems very well sealed on. I thought that cos the car is 10 years old, the paint might have sealed the alan key. Ive put some paint remover around the edge but it still wont turn.
Any one got any idea? I thought about trying a hair dryer to warm it up but it could be pointless.
