I'm looking into replacing the Polo GT I have with a BMW 530d. The car has been fantastic and I have had no problems at all with it but I fancy something a bit bigger. It is a 55 plate with 20000 miles on the clock, just had its first service and I'm about to put on a new set of front tyres (Goodyear F1s) its a 5dr with the colour coded bumpers. What type of price would I realistically be looking for? The left front alloy is scuffed and there is a tiny mark on the front bumper where it looks like someone has hit it with a trolley at Tescos! Otherwise its in perfect condition. I've had a look on autotrader but they are very rare and none are available in Scotland.

Information from parkers.

Average mileage is 10k which is what these will be based on

For a 3 Door

Original Price £14,407
Franchised Dealer £11,255
Independent Dealer £10,795
Private Good £9,975
Private Poor £7,960
Part Exchange £9,240

For a 5 Door

Original Price £14,907
Franchised Dealer £11,655
Independent Dealer £11,180
Private Good £10,325
Private Poor £8,245
Part Exchange £9,570

I'd guess with your mileage and possibly the small knock (depeding whether you're being brutally honest about the knock where actually it's probs not that bad  )

The higher £9k to around £10k

I'd say 10k looking at what I've found, parkers is quite tight with valuations - try theaa website as this uses auction prices and more up to date info - that's what i've been told and it was spot on for my car.

I think they got a few GTs in and pre-registered them to meet their sales targets!
