Hi all, my gf has just bought a 1.2 55 E 9n polo (a mouthful) in silver

Few things id like to ask .....

Do they make a wurring noise on startup?
Is there a way of quietening the vibrating engine cover?
How much are replacement headlights? Or are there aftermarket ones availible?
Is a central locking conversion and leccy mirror conversion easy?
How are the bump strips held on?

Im not spending much on it, thats what my cars for but plans are TT comps, eibach springs, cc bump strips, 9n3 lights and a new headlight! and locking and mirrors if easy.

there are some TT comps in the for sale section - £450.

I'm sure the whirring noise is the fuel pump priming.....

Stick some foam pads underneath the cover if it makes a lot of noise.

not sure on the headlights, there are some FK darker ones around I think.

Not sure on the conversion, could be a pain in the @ss.....

side bump strips just need warming up to remove (sticky pads), front and rear bumpers need the bumper removing and unclipping of the strips from inside.

plans sound similar to mine! I just bought a set of textured bump strips and spent this afternoon sanding them down.
