Decided the car was due a spring clean before i attend my first show of the year next weekend!
Hadn't really gained mainly swirls since the last full swirl removal back last year some time but being VAG paint was still a right ass to work with.

No before's as the car wasn't dirty but i washed it firstly with fairly liquid (:doublesho ) followed by Megs Gold Class Shampoo through the Hosecoil Sud's Blaster. Pics show before with beading and after Fairly Liquid wash with no beading;

After drying with a WW using Last Touch as lube, i set about swirl removal using a 4" LC Orange Light Cutting Pad using Menz IP (my god the dust gets everywhere!)

Once i was happy i had archived sufficient swirl removal i applied a thin layer of Meg's #5 New Car Glaze and then followed that with Nattys Blue Wax. All plastic trim was dressed with Meg's Endurance Tyre Gel, which is still my fave dressing for trim!

I masked everything around the paintwork, but you can't see it in them pics as when using the porter cable i dont want to get polish on the black trim or window's. Heres a pic to show you what i mask up;

Cheers Phil - stone chip repair sounds easy but its a bit daunting wet sanding your car!!!

Chris all the products i used to remove the swirls were done on a Porter Cable Polisher, would never archive it by hand.

Today was engine and interior day!

Engine was soaked in Megs APC and then wiped down and dressed with Hyper Dressing.

That is looking great!!!

I think some small spacers would go great on the rears. Phatten them wheels up a bit :wink:
