finally got a polo!

hey y'all
finally got a polo! absolutly love it, its a Y reg silver 5 door, 1.4 75bhp SE. 1 lady owner from new, FVWSH, jus under 31K on the clock! absolutly mint, drives a dream! electric front windows, electric sunroof, fogs, tiltable seats (which i didnt know existed in SE's!!)
2 of ma m8s now have 6n 1.4 16v 100 bhp polos and i feel that i want a little extra "oomph" (specially wen i sit in thier car!) , but every where i look i seem to see engine mods for the "1.4 16v" and i can only assume it means the 100 bhp model.
will these mods fit to the 75 bhp model? and which ones do u think will give the best performance? i hear alot of 1L and 1.4 8v owners asking for mods but im sure the 16v 75bhp has some hidden potential!

Welcome to UK-P mate!! Performance wise you can get it chipped +5bhp but costs around £250, other stuff which you can do is exhaust and induction kit. got the same car as you, except mines 3door
and has 3 times the mileage lol

oo 3 door! u know if i had my way i would have got a 1.4 16v 100 bhp 3dr black. that would have been perfect! but i guess its good i got a 5dr for practicality, im sure it will come in handy!
do u kno how much bhp the exaust and induction kit will add? and is there anything more i can do?
im gonna get ma audio system put in after my exams finish, and i know its gonna really slow the car down; sub (which weighs ALOT), comps, 2 amps, 2nd battery and sound deadening! that the reason why i jus want a little bit more power, i just hate the loud sound some of these mods make!

You'd be suprised, mine is pretty much the same as yours except the second battery, must weigh somewhere around 80kg and I haven't noticed it that much at all.

?? can hardly say im not suprised!! btw mate iv seen the pics of ur install on TA....extremely impressed!! proper gorgeous, ma mate was drooling over his laptop when i showed him
edit: just realised, you said you don't have an extra battery with your system. i would have thought you'd need one! did you upgrade anything to help the battery out or is the standard one sufficient?

Didn't upgrade anything at all.
It doesn't seem to suffer much either, as anyone that was at the GTi Spring Festival will tell you
