Went out to check my car this morning and noticed that some little s**t have decided to break nearly all the wing mirrors down my road.

As you can tell i was pretty pissed off. what is the point? Ive been working hard to get my car how i wanted it and just cos some prick... actually i cant be arsed.

Anyway, luckily i had a spare electric unit from when i changed some of the doors, but the glass has somehow smashed.

Anyone got a clue as to how much a new bit of glass will cost?

They're about £15-20 from the dealer, or a few quid from the local scrapyard.

Does the MK4 Polo have MK3 Golf mirrors, like my MK2 Ibiza?

i have no idea to be honest. all i know is that they are electric heated ones.

I have a VW scrapyard round the back of where i work so ill go there tomorrow.

when my mirror glass broke i was able to buy replacement glass that just sticks over the existing glass for about a fiver at my local motorist centre, anywhere like halfords will do them.
