2 Questions looking for Suggestions

Hi all. I got a few questions that maybe you can help answer for me
My polo's steering tends to pull to the left all the time and as a result, the front tyre on the left, the tread on the outside of the tyres is worning out quite quickly!! but the other 3 tyres are fine. Can anyone advice me on what may be causing the problem?
Another thing, im gonna be needing a new exhaust soon as my current one seems to be coming to the end of its life. I would prefer a performance exhaust, a full system. Any of you guys have suggestions on which one to get and where?
Appreciate ur time fellow polo goers

right firstly on the pulling to the left, i've heard that cars are designed to pull slightly to the left so as to avoid ploughing into oncoming traffic. i'm not sure how true this is.
if it seems to pull excessively i think u will need ur tracking/camber adjusted by a good garage and this should aid the pull, although u may need to buy a new tyre, depending on how legal it is!
there are many different exhausts u can get, i know remus and scorpion, supersprint and jetex all do backboxs, and i'm pretty sure most of them will do a full system aswell.
powerflow will do a custom exhaust for you made to your own specification with whatever tailpipe design you chose!
hope i have been of some help!

I had this problem, but it was only because some idiot had put bigger tyre on one side so it pulled to the left. Only realised once i had bought it

haha

that's actually so funny. yer it's most likely to be your tracking, also check how well your tyres are inflated. about the exhaust, try powerflow as well and it also helps to have a look in yellow pages, for the ones based in your local area

Yeah I was gonna say check you tires pressures. If the one on the left is under inflated then this could account for why its wearing and why its pulling. Worth checking all the pressures regulary because an over inflated tire can cause wear also. But at the same time tracking being wrong could cause the same to problems.

hey guys, thanks for all the input and advice, very appreciated...
i recently went into kwik-fit and the guy there said its probably not to do with tracking cos only one side is worn (left front tyre) and the front right tyre is perfectly fine...he said it could be the wishbone...
now a couple of months ago, i did drive thru a pot hole at about 20/30mph (yea very stupid of me lol, i saw it too late), which as a result the hole cut the left front tyre and i had to use my spare to get home...now driving thru a pot hole at that speed may have caused some damage i guess...so once i get this wishbone sorted, everything should be back to normal...lol

mine pulls slightly to the left also, i think its a comon problem. also defo go for a powerflow custom exhaust, depending on where u go, you should pay roughly the same price as u wood 4 a scorpion or remus system, except its all fitted.
