apart from a full exhaust system and filter, not much really, you could port and polish etc but there isn't any point really due to the size of the engine

wot i am going to do is get a cat back exhaust, an air filter of some sort and then wait until i can afford a g40 insurance! there was a really nice mk3 round my way, i spoke to the owner and he said he had done everything possible to it! looked really nice (did it up like a g40) it was quick off the line put had no top end due to the lack of gears!

You could spend a lot of money on the engine, not to get a great return in power. As it's a 1.0 litre you are very limited simply because of the physical size of the engine.
You could remove the cat and put an exhaust on, port the head and manifolds etc. Not sure if the GT cam would work on the 1.0 litre. It might be a bit nippier with a GT gearbox, too.
My best advice would be to get a 1.3 litre engine, perferebly in GT or G40 form.

Heey Serge, Nice to see You here

The Camshaft will give just a little more power but on a 1025cc engine it will be not that much, The orginal is a 204 degrees cam (if the Engine is an AAU) and the 3F is a 214 degrees cam.
