removing the radio

how can i remove the radio without taking it to VW?
which sort is it, normally the dealer will provide you with stereo removal keys, if not you can pick them up on ebay for a few quid, or from the dealer for a couple more. Make sure you know your stereos security code before you go ahead as it will ask you for it when the power comes back on.
When you clip the keys into the slots (on the 9n3 normally 4 slots) the radio will pop out slightly and can then be pulled out, and the wires just unclip on the rear.
