my mate wants to sell his alloys but offered them to me b4 they went onto ebay...unfortunately he knows nothing and in unsure if theyre alrite they are 16" in diameter 6.5J wide with an offset of 42. im pretty sure dat would fit a mk4 right?
in addition the tyre width is 205, aspect ratio is 55 and load index of 91 das wat im unsure about will they rub? are there any other tyres dat would fit fine and allow me to lower without rubbing? fanxxxxxxxxxxxx

the wheels size is fine but the tyres are wayyyyy out!
check the pcd of the wheel is 4 x 100 ( or see if they actually fit)
you need 195/40/16 tyres - not cheap £ 55 -70.

use this to calculate what size you need
http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html
the original tyre size is whats on your car now but just use 185/55/14
and you can check tyre prices and sizes here
http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html
you could use 205/40/16 which are cheaper but you may have rubbing problems.

they need to be 4x100 and have to have a similar sized centre bore (not critical as spigot rings can sort this,,as long as they aint smaller)
