H&R make 4x100 to 5x100 adaptors which are 20mm thick:

I've not come across any adaptors thinner than that. Any idea how wide the wheels are?

This might be able to help you out if you know the specs of your current wheels:

Also bear in mind that you have to add 20mm to the values calculated to take the adaptors into consideration.

thats sites great
im guessing et 38 with 20mm adapters makes it et 18 if so this is what it says
if so its gunna stick out and extra 1.4cm's would that make a diference?

Extra 14mm, guess it all depends how low you are really.
It's not a massive increase compared to what you're currently running, I can't personally seeing it being a major problem if you have 195/40/16 tyres.

Hmm, I'd like someone to give a second opinion to make sure. I'm not great with the whole offset thing either.
Alternatively get out there with a tape measure and look at the difference the additional 14mm will make.
