I shall - fingers crossed we can get enough interest. Ive been getting quotes for 50 as a mix of H4 and H7 kits and quotes of each on their own. Hopefully we will get a good deal :)

Also did a bit of research "You will need new headlights if you've got anything older than a mk5 though, as the frosted glass will mess up the beam pattern," - the patterned headlight glass causes issues. So i guess we are aiming this more at MK5's upwards :)

Heres the email i got - basically, if we use these people the H7 kit is £130 - thats £70 of RRP which is a very good deal. For H4 the kit is £159.
Hi Alex

Chris has passed onto me your enquiry and many thanks for the
info provided.

Depending on the car year model we would supply the appropriate
kit. Pre 2002 models and cars with H4 fitting have no problem
with our Pro kit. Post 2002 using H7 we would offer the
Ultimate kit which looks after any ECU issues including bulb
warning lights etc. This can be a difficulty with some kits
which do not have these filters built into the ballast and a
series of relays or resistors are used to overcome these
problems ending up with a kit which is far less than 'plug &
play' - looks untidy!

We can offer a drop ship service and also a full technical
backup service direct to your members if required. It would not
then be necessary to buy 50 kits in one hit unless you thought
this necessary. We would be happy to give your members a
special price based on the figures below, however if you are
wanting to stock and resell retaining a margin then obviously
we would be pleased to supply on this basis.

The price for both Pro and Ultimate would be as follows:

H4 £159 Bixenon
H7 £130

We send all kits by Interlink Courier and there is a £6.50
charge for this service.

We would expect during a given period that you or your members
directly would purchase between 30 and 50 kits. I hope this
info helps. If you want to discuss in more detail then please do
not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards
Chris Stubbings
Director

That price is amazing especially if there giving the H7 kit that sorts out the warning lights that show up bcos of low power.. I want one for my 9n but how does this work? do I fone HIDS4U and say that I am a UK-POLOS member??

(Q's a bit retarded but I havnt been on the forum long and dont know how the 'group buy' thing works)

Ye it solves that problem. Just add your name to the list. I'll take it from there. When we hit the needed number (30 upwards), Ill get an order in place and we will sort out payment for everyone then. :D
