Hi everyone :)
I recently purchest a 93 Genesis, 1L which I'm learning to drive in.
I'm currently doing a little rust repair and giving it a general tidy up ect. get it looking presentable.
Bought it for £150 so can't really go wrong there :)

Got some plans for basic mods as soon as I've got the cash...new wheels, lower it some, clear side repeaters, colour coded bumpers and a new back-box probably. Not going to go over the top. Going for the less is more approach (Y) haha.

Anyway I was wondering if/where you can get GT/G40 style wheel-arch extensions?

And while I'm here will alloy wheels increase the price of your insurance no matter what?

Cheers :)

Generally any aftermarket modifications will increase the insurance. you may be able to get away with some standard vw fit 13/14" bbs's by saying they are standard vw fit ones

I've just sold my only spare set of sills and arches, its just a case of being in the right place at the right time for second hand ones. You can probably still order new ones from vw parts counter.

You can get them from a VW Dealer ..

Expensive though ..

Best to ring around a few scrappys .. might find it hard to find some with no damage though ..
