can anyone tell me what the shank length is on a original vw wheel bolt. im basically looking for a set of locking bolts for a set of aftermarket alloy wheels and will also be using 5mm spacers, therefore need to know what the original bolt length would have been...

i cant check my ones because i dont have original bolts on them. the shank length is basically the length (mm) of the bolt from thread end to the point where the bolt head starts. see pic

I'd Check for you mate, But it's Half 12 at night, and i'm buggered if i'm going out to check them lol, if no answer tomorrow i'll have a swatch for ya !
