Hi,

I have to change one of the bulbs, but i got H4 90/100, will they fit?

I've read that MK5 uses H4, but now i found out they are 60/55. Is there any problem installing the 90/100 ones?

Thanks ;)

90/100 are NOT road legal for england.

Headlight bulbs are 55w or 35w for Xenon HID. Mk5 Headlamps are also H1 for high beam and H7 for dipped beams. Mk4's had H4's hehe :)

I know they are not legal. The thing is i'm not in the UK, so i'd like to know if they'll fit with no problem ;)

Ahh fair play. Well yes they will fit perfectly, but you will need an H7 for dipped and an H1 for high :)

There should be no problem, although you may get glare from the lens as theres such a high output going through it.

Great!

I'll install the bulbs this weekend, and i'll take my time, you know because i've read it's a complicated thing to change the bulbs in this car.
