Hi everyone, im Hannah just to say im a new member. I love my little polo, ive slightly modified it, and im having trouble finding a splitter for it, like the one found on a gti, anyone care to help?

Welcome.

You can fit the splitter from the GTi onto non-GTi models. Should be able to get one from the parts department of your local VW dealer.

Thanx guys My polo is a 1.4, silver, X reg (2001), 5 dr and its all standard apart from a rear spoiler, 16" wolfrace alloys, im currently saving up to get my windows tinted and obviously i wanna add a splitter. Ill try and add images, but i reeaaally dont know how to

Hey hannah welcome to the forum Is it the VW rear spoiler they sold as an add on that has the cut out for the brakelight?

no its not, i got it off ebay. When i bought it i asked them if it would cover my rear light but they sed no, unfortunately it does half cover my rear light, but im not gonna complain because it looks good and u can still see the light as it reflects off the silver

yeah recently tho ive had 2 people within a month hit me, a woman reversed into me, and a bloke rammed into the back of me, so its got a few scrapes, but insurance is fixing it all as soon as thats done ill post pictures:)

nasty stuff. I got a nice scrape in my rear bumper that needs fixing should be done soon when i can afford to get it done Tax, MOT and insurance are all due in the next 4 weeks

Got it direct a while back now through a friend of mine who worked at VW at the time. Cost about £70 if i remember rightly Really must get around to fitting it
