Summer coming up i figured i had best set up a car blog type thing. Mainly so i can look back at the good ol days when she was nigh on standard. But as work begins over summer this is how she be now. Slightly modded but nothing drastic.


Current Mods:

Replacement pipercross air filter
Cold air feed
Golf alloys
Destripped the sides
Colour coded grill
4 innch exit backbox
lowered 40mm on springs all round
some seriously retro kenwood head unit lol
rather ragged and fooked infinity 6x9's
neon tube on the parcel shelf (has a purpose not for looks!)
Sunstrip with "LeMeph" on it in "Slamic Font"
Replaced open air stickers with "Slamic" font "open air" stickers.

Got my token street ratz stickers on there aswell. Though theyre going soon. Wanna get some mroe subtle black ones. I didnt make these my chavvier friends did. I just got to decide the font. Cause i didnt want it out of sync with my open air and lemeph stickers lol.


Some bad points:

Rust bubbling on rear arch and on driver door
Lots of stone chips
fgrill needs to be resprayed
my bad repairs need re-workign and respraying lol
window isnt working (nearly a year now!)
Needs new bumpers desperately as mine are all deformed lol
rear wiper doesnt work.
needs a new drivers chair cause some fat s**t pushed the foam of the frame and it digs in my leg sometimes...

Yeh its tatty. But i think all the paint ive lost has made it quicker. cause dun arf av eet...

Mods coming up: Hopefully a 1.6 head, stainless downpipe, breaks (discs and pads)!!!

Plenty more too but these are coming first.

yeh just pics of the head really. Dont go out your way or anythign but if you find yourself taking some random pics in the next week or so then if you could get a pic for me itd be great. Mainly in interested to know if theyre running on a carb on a MPI type system like the 1.4 8V does.

Reason i ask is my mates golf has the same 1.6 block and we were told its the same as a polos. But his isnt multi point injection. Im wondering whether the polo version of the engine has MPI or just a carb setup? This is what i want help with mainly as i am clueless. Never seen a 1.6 polo close up.

Slam it !!!!!!!!, na, just kidding, don't look to bad, certainly changed alot since I saw it. You going for a respray??, if so, you keeping the original colour? As for the rear wiper, why don't you completely remove it, I did this when I debadged mine, certainly looks good when it's done.
