Sorry if this question has been asked a million times before folks, but ive just come into ownership(well its for my missus but im driving it aswell) of a 54 plate 1.9sdi 3dr and im having the votex kit fitted/sprayed next week and she is getting 17's for it in a few weeks. Now its about 8 foot in the air at the mo so wanna lower it about 40mm. Cant afford coilovers at the mo so wanna put a set of springs on it. Are there any that you would recommend or not recommend and is the ride rock hard with them on cos she will only moan (not in a good way ) if they are. Cheers for any help

select MKVI Polo (inc GT and Fun) secton and type springs. everything you need to know

I can definetely say to avoid Spax 50mm springs on standard shocks. Was very harsh, much harsher than my FK coilovers that I currently have!

Might be a different story though with them and uprated shocks!
