modifying my car

well as i havnt had any money in the past i havnt been able to do n e thing, infact thinking about it i still dont have any. but a while ago i brought a splitter from dee-vub and a solenoid for my boot.
after painting the splitter which im not even sure is the right colour, it was left in the garage where it still remains. and the solenoid remained in its box.......... that is untill now.
can anyone help me on finding the correct code or type of paint for my splitter? i looked in the places and am not sure wat im looking for. i wanna get it painted to so i know its right.
also im finally just starting to get the solenoid done to so all the wires are in place, well nearly all, and now i gotta get the solenoid set up properly. then i'll get it booked into a body shop and get them to do a shed load of smoothing and painting.
can anyone tell me wat they think is either the biggest or the biggest with no work, enginge yo can put in a x reg polo? also how expensive and wat else would need upgrading, eg gear box, brakes etc.
hopefully i'll get some pics of the modifying as it happens.
also im going away in july for 4 weeks to sri lanka so will not be on much and will miss my car to
but on the plus side hopefully i'll get a better paid job soon as i have 2 in mind and if i get either of these i will have more money so will be able to do more modifying to my car.
