Simple electric windows problem... i should think

Right here it is my electric windows work but one slight problem. i cant bring up the passanger windows from the driver side of the car!! can make it go down fine from driver side and can make it go both up and down from the passanger side control but cant make it go up from drivers side.
anyone had this problem or any idea how to fix (or even how to to have a look at the switch to ensure its all connected)
Had my polo less than a week and this is the 1st of a few problems i want to fix!!

that's bound to be a switch problem. you could try swapping the connectors around on the drivers side and see if that works on the passenger side. then get a new switch if it does!

thanks mate tested it with the other switch!! thing is tho i have two problems. 1. cant the switch out. 2. cant find a new switch online

New switch is either a dealership job or via a call to vag parts (
www.vagparts.co.uk)
It should just lift out - you could carefully prise it out, or otherwise take off the door panel and push it out from underneath, tho its a pain in the ass!

nio problem, yeah as said already you're best off popping to VW for that. once vagparts charge postage it'll be more expensive.
or look for a breakers on ebay.
