Looks nice.
I wonder if VW have changed the shade of red. Yours looks really nice and deep red where my 06 keeps getting called 'orange'

did you buy that from liverpool vw mate?
it looks familiar the building i mean as i used to work there
nice car too, red also looks deaper than my old red gti turbo
how you finding the conti sport contact 2's mate, my gti came on dunlop sp sport maxx's and although they grip really well they seem to shred easy, mine have more than a few tears in the rubber but that could just be my engine mods though taking it out on the tyres

I bought it from a VW Dealer in London...as for the red its probably because the pictures were taken the day I picked it up and the car had just been polished with Auto Glym!
To be honest I haven't really tested the Conti's yet but I had them on my last car and they did a really good job...they're a bit softer than Mitchelin or Pirelli's but I'd prefer to have the extra grip than longer wear!

Unfortunately she's not run in yet...only had 4 miles on the clock when I picked her up...The dealer who sold it to me drives one and said it should be driven at under 4000rpm for the first 500 miles...I'm really itching to floor it so I cant wait till it reaches 500!

even after 500 miles i would not floor it mate, i would progressivly introduce it to the whole rev range bit by bit then get it re mapped haha
