Rear Wheel Bearing

I have whirling noise at higher speeds (well 40mph+) coming from the drivers side rear wheel. It's quite noisey. I suspect this is worn bearings?
Anyone know how much a garage would charge to replace it?

sounds like a wheel bearing to me. you could jack the car up and spin the wheel to confirm this. give it a wiggle too to see if there is any play.
probably about an hour or two to complete the work. so, about £40 - £50 perhaps?
